Sustainable Economy

The Summit County Beef Program is the first program of the not-for-profit organization, the Summit County Food Coalition, which is sponsored by Summit County. The mission of the Summit County Food Coalition is to create a local food economy by supporting the work of Summit County farmers and ranchers and filing the demand for local meat. Summit County Beef is in its 2nd year and offers again 1/4, 1/2 or whole orders of beef direct to consumer. The beef is also currently being sold at the Market at Park City for the 2011-2012 winter season, and select Talisker restaurants.
