Summit County is currently recruiting for a Solid Waste Supervisor. This position will be responsible for supervising, planning, and coordinating daily operations of solid waste facilities, including a municipal solid waste landfill, a construction and demolition debris landfill, and two waste collection sites.
Graduation from high school, plus one (1) year of specialized training provided through professionally sponsored workshops and seminars, technical college or in service; and ten (10) years of experience in operation medium to heavy equipment and tools related to landfill maintenance and construction or related specialty operation; two years of general supervisory responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required to have a valid Class B Commercial driver’s license, or higher, is necessary for the satisfactory performance of assigned duties.
Solid Waste Supervisor : $22.50/hr - $31.52/hr
